Hello from Athens!
I am currently writing from a high-speed ferry which was supposed to take us to the island of Mykonos. I say ‘suppose to’ because midway into our journey, the ferry experienced an unexpected setback with the engines forcing it to return to the port in Athens. All is good, there is no danger but we are now waiting to transfer to another ferry. The good news is, we are still going to make to Mykonos and that’s all that matters.

Actualmente estoy escribiendo desde un ferry de alta velocidad que se suponía que nos llevaría a la isla de Mykonos. Digo ‘suponía’ porque a mitad de camino, el ferry experimentó un pequeño accidente con los motores que lo obligaron a volver al puerto de Atenas. Estamos bien y no hay ningún peligro pero ahora estamos esperando a transferir a otro ferry. La buena noticia es que todavía vamos a ir a Mykonos y eso es todo lo que importa.

While I have been abroad, I have been sharing looks that we shot before leaving, like this palm-printone-piece swimsuit and this maxi dress (which I packed for the trip). Today’s look is another one with the same military-inspired jacket I styled in this post. As I mentioned on that blog post, I love layering items, but of course, items that are light enough to wear during Miami’s spring season. The one I am wearing is from Target, and at under $33 is a piece I recommend you have in your closet. Not only is it extremely versatile but its trendy and oh-so flattering because of the side drawstrings that can be adjusted to your liking.
This outfit was actually inspired by fellow blogger Stephanie from A Sparkled Factor. She wore something similar a year ago… yep! And I loved it so much that it has been stuck in my mind ever since. Soft pink (or blush) paired with military (or army) green is such a feminine and trendy combo. I have also done something similar in the past (here), where I paired a denim skirt with a lace top and army green jacket and here, with an off-the-shoulder ruffle top and military green shorts.

El look de hoy es otro con la misma chaqueta de color verde olivo que compartí en esta publicación anterior. Como mencioné en esa publicación, me encantan vestir artículos en capas, pero por supuesto, aquellos que son lo suficientemente livianos como para usar durante la temporada de primavera de Miami. Este que llevo es de Target, y a menos de $33 es una pieza que recomiendo que tengan en sus armarios. No solo es súper versátil, sino que también es moderno y muy halagador debido a que se puede ajustar con el cordón que se encuentra a los lados.
Este outfit fue inspirado por Stephanie, u a compañera blogger de A Sparkled Factor. Ella usó algo similar hace un año. Y me gustó tanto que se ha quedado grabado en mi mente desde entonces. El color rosa combinado con el verde olivo es una combinación bien femenina y a la moda. También hice algo similar en el pasado (aquí), donde combiné una falda de mezclilla con un top de encaje de color rosa y una chaqueta verde oliva y aquí con una blusa de hombros al descubierto y unos pantalones cortos color verde olivo.
