Pregnant brain IS a thing ladies! and today’s blog post is the perfect example of that. I completely forgot to share this look back when I wore it. You ready? 3 months ago,… yikes! Just as a point of reference, I was about 4 months pregnant in these photos thus the belly was barely showing.

‘Pregnancy brain’ se refiere a la pérdida de memoria que sufren algunas embarazadas y ¡sí existe chicas! y la publicación de hoy es el ejemplo perfecto de eso. Y solo como punto de referencia, estaba embarazada de 4 meses en estas fotos, por lo que la pancita apenas se veía.

This outfit falls under the comfy & trendy category, which happens to be my motto as of late. Its comfy enough to wear it without having to sacrifice style. Wouldn’t you all agree? And this is something we could all do more often with the key pieces we already own. The only item in this look that has an expiration date are the ruffle shorts (since checked and ruffles might not be a thing in the coming seasons), but everything else could easily stay in your closet and be restyled indefinitely. One of my favorite key pieces of this look is the utility jacket. This one is from Target and if I say that I’ve worn it just a few times, I would be lying because it has been quite more than that. If you ladies don’t own a utility jacket, I recommend you add it to your collection. Jackets are an easy way to amp up an otherwise bland look 🙂

Este outfit entra en la categoría de cómodo y moderno, que es mi lema últimamente. Es lo suficientemente cómodo como para usar sin tener que sacrificar lucir a la moda. ¿No están de acuerdo? Y esto es algo que todas podemos hacer más a menudo con piezas claves que ya poseemos. El único elemento de este look que tiene una fecha de vencimiento son los pantalones cortos con volantes (ya que los volantes y los cuadros pueden no estar a la moda en las próximas temporadas), pero todo lo demás podría quedarse fácilmente en sus armarios y vestirlos indefinidamente. Una de las piezas clave favoritas de este look es la chaqueta. Esta es de Target y si les digo que la usé unas cuantas veces podría estar mintiendo porque ha sido al menos 10 veces. Y chicas, si no poseen una chaqueta como esta, les recomiendo que la agreguen a su colección. Las chaquetas son una forma fácil de amplificar una apariencia que de otro modo sería aburrida 🙂

And as far as this white scoop-neck t-shirt (also from Target), well it is one of the softest I have. I even went back to purchase in other colors because not only is it the softest but it stretches enough for the growing belly #WinWin!

Y en cuanto a esta camiseta de cuello redondo (también de Target), bueno, es una de las más suaves que tengo. Incluso regrese a comprar en otros colores porque no solo es liviana y cómoda, sino que se estira lo suficiente para la pancita que no para de crecer.
