So happy how our tropical baby shower turned out! Besides the pregnant belly and baby Julian, the star of the show was a flamingo.

If you glanced at my Instagram stories from two weekends ago, you must have seen that we celebrated the upcoming arrival of Little Miss Jorge with ten of our closest family members. We opted for a brunch instead of a baby shower, which we also did for Julian (take a look here if you’d like to see more of that).

The theme was Modern Tropical and a flamingo I found on Amazon was the main character. Everything turned out exactly as how I envisioned it despite some minor setbacks. But let’s be real, planning something –large or small— can have its obstacles.
