I am such a sucker for a good pop of color that when I purchased these culottes I was all over my closet pairing them with several bright pieces I already own. It was a hard decision to make, but I finally decided to keep it simple and bright (of course). Adding statement pieces like earrings in this case, or a clutch in a vibrant hue, an outfit can easily surpass the ‘blah’ to the ‘put-together’ stage.

This is always a rule I follow, unless I choose to keep the look monochromatic. So go ahead and purchase that turquoise ring, or that fuchsia handbag you’ve been eyeing! Talking about fuchsia, take a look at this post where I used that statement color in an otherwise plain look.

Soy tan débil con los colores llamativos que cuando compré estos pantalones anchos estaba por todas partes en mi armario combinándolos con varias piezas de colores alucinantes que ya poseo. Fue una decisión difícil de tomar, pero finalmente decidí con este sencillo y llamativo (por supuesto) conjunto. Añadir piezas que destacan un look como los pendientes en este caso, o una bolsa de mano en una tonalidad llamativa, hace fácilmente que el outfit sobrepase lo común.

Siempre sigo esta regla y en realidad ya lo hago por naturaleza, a menos que prefiera mantener el outfit monocromático. Así que ¿¡que espera y compre ese anillo de color turquesa, o ese bolso de tonalidad fucsia que ha estado ojeando desde hace un tiempo!? Hablando de ese color tan llamativo, echen un vistazo a este post donde use dicho color en un outfit que de otra forma hubiera sido simple y un tin aburrido.
