It’s thanksgiving weekend!
Are you all ready for yummy food, fun gatherings and shopping! Ha! I didn’t forget the shopping like a true fashionista right?! Well, I was not planning on featuring this look until a little further down the Miami “autumn” season, but it’s possible that some of these pieces might make it to the sought-after Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales, so get your shopping carts ready.
Before I begin to praise how much I love this beret (and the entire look overall really), let me start with the elephant in the room. If you are not a Miami local, you can skip to the next paragraph, but if you are, I know what you are thinking and yes, I agree that it might be a tad early for OTK (over the knee) boots, but in all honesty, I was actually not suffering from a heat stroke #iswear! The mini skirt and cold shoulder top helped to avoid this, which is a little trick you should try if you take the over the knee plunge 🙂
Hopefully the Miami weather cooperates this week, because I have a few other Fall looks in the works that I would love to share. Now, let’s talk about this pearl embellished beret, that I totally planned this look around. Pearls are my current obsession, and my Black Friday goal is to find the perfect pair of shoes with this detail. There are a few I have my eyes on, like these suede sandals, so I’m desperately waiting for this weekend to make the purchase.

¡Ya llego el fin de semana de Acción de Gracias!
¿Están listas para la deliciosa comida, las fiestas y las compras? No me olvidé de las compras como una verdadera fashionista ¿verdad? Bueno, no pensaba compartir este look hasta un poco más adelante, cuando el otoño en Miami decidiera presentarse, pero es posible que algunas de estas piezas lleguen a las codiciadas ventas de Viernes Negro o Lunes Cibernético, así que tengan sus carritos de compras listo.
Antes de comenzar a alabar lo mucho que amo esta boina (y en general toda el look), permítanme comenzar con lo obvio. Si no eres de Miami, pueden saltar al siguiente párrafo, pero si lo eres, sé lo que estás pensando y sí, estoy de acuerdo que podría ser un poco temprano para las botas sobre la rodilla, pero siéndoles honesta, no sufrí de un golpe de calor. La mini falda y la blusa del hombros al descubierto ayudaron a evitar esto, cual es un pequeño truco que deben probar si deciden vestir las botas de la temporada.
Espero que el clima de Miami coopere esta semana, porque tengo otros looks de otoño que me gustaría compartir. Ahora, hablemos de esta boina de perlas, cual usé como pieza principal cuando comencé a combinar este conjunto. Las perlas son mi nueva obsesión, y mi objetivo el Viernes Negro es encontrar el par perfecto de zapatos con este detalle. Hay algunos que tengo en mente, como estas sandalias de gamuza. Así que estoy esperando desesperadamente por este fin de semana para hacer la compra.
