It’s Plaid Colorful: Flannel Top + Distressed Denim

I can’t believe it’s already November and that today I am celebrating 8 years of pure bliss with my hubby! Yes you read right… 8 years of marriage, and it literally feels like it was just a few years ago when we said our I do’s. Marriage is tough ladies (I am not going to lie) but in the end it is so rewarding. It’s incredible how much you can learn, grow, discover and even trust your better half no matter how many years of coexistence. I always have a blast with him and that’s one of the most important things in a marriage, have fun, joke about each other and laugh. Laugh until your tummy hurts because you chose each other for a reason, and one reason only… to be together no matter what.

No puedo creer que ya es noviembre y que hoy ¡estoy celebrando 8 años de felicidad con mi esposo! ¡Sí! Leístes bien… 8 años de matrimonio, y honestamente siento como si fuera hace unos pocos años cuando nos prometimos el Sí. El matrimonio es difícil chicas (no les miento) pero al final del día es tan gratificante. Es increíble lo mucho que puedes aprender, crecer, descubrir e incluso confiar en tu media naranja a pesar de los muchos años de convivencia. Siempre me divierto a lo máximo con él y esa es una de las cosas más importantes en un matrimonio…. divertirse, bromear entre sí y reír. Ríete hasta que no puedas más porque cada uno escogió al otro por una razón, y una sola razón;  para estar juntos no importa qué.

Now, let’s talk about my oh-so fall appropriate outfit. Believe it or not, this past week, although rainy, the weather resembled what we Miamians consider a South Floridian fall. It was very windy and a bit chilly as the sun hid its rays, thus giving me the opportunity to wear my favorite long sleeve plaid top and my new structured obsession, my Rogue handbag (check out another plaid-look here and how I’ve styled these same mules here). To finish the look with a pop of color and to endure the wind, I added this new hat that I am also obsessing over. Isn’t the color stunning?

Ahora, vamos a hablar de mi look que es muy apropiado para el otoño. Créanlo o no, la semana pasada, aunque lluvioso, el tiempo se parecía a lo que los habitantes de Miami consideramos otoño. Había mucho viento y un poco de frío cuando el sol escondía sus rayos, por lo que me dio la oportunidad de usar mi camisa de manga larga de cuadros favorita y mi nueva obsesión, el bolso Rogue de Coach (echen un vistazo a otro look con cuadros aquí y cómo combine estas mismas sandalias aquí). Para finalizar el look con un pop de color y para resistir el viento, agregué este nuevo sombrero que también estoy super obsesionada con. ¿No es impresionante su color?
