[one_half]Now let’s get talking about my top favorites (which are 11 by the way):

• Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (in the color Auburn). I’ve used this pencil for years and I don’t even think of trying anything else. I love it because it lasts throughout the day, it’s easy to apply and blends easily with the spooley that has at its other end.
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel. This is another favorite from the eyebrow queen. After filling in my brows, this is a step I don’t miss, and this clear gel is THE best I have found on the market. It defines and keeps my brows in place through the day.
• BeautyBlender. After its debut a few years ago, this little pink sponge revolutionized the makeup market. Many brands have tried to replicate its success, but there’s a lot of mixed reviews about their quality. I love the natural finish it produces and it’s really a holy-grail item I can’t live without.
• Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (in the color Demolition). I opt for this eyeliner more often than a liquid version. I use it the most for my casual daytime looks, or when I am in hurry at night and can’t afford to spend minutes trying to perfect a winged eyeliner look. It glides on very smooth, does not transfer and lasts throughout the day. It is available in several shades too if you want to try something more fun or vibrant.
• Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. For the days when I have the time to create a fearless and spotless winged eyeliner look, I opt for this liquid gold. I recently attempted a new brand, and it was such a fail. Instead, this liner is easy to use, glides on effortlessly and lasts FOREVER!!
• Dior Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 35 (in the shade 21). I’ve loved this foundation ever since I first tried it. That was about 2+ years ago and is still one of my favorites. I actually have it on right now and it looks almost the same as when I applied it at 8 a.m. (it’s 5 p.m. now). That is one of the reasons why it’s my go-to, as well as it blends easil, has a smooth consistency, it’s almost full coverage, its SPF 35 and does not dry my skin (I have very dry skin and apply a moisturizer before my foundation).

Ahora hablemos de mis productos favoritos (que son 11 por cierto):

• Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (en el color Auburn). He usado este lápiz durante años y ni siquiera pienso en probar otros. Me encanta porque dura todo el día, es fácil de aplicar y se difumina fácilmente con el pequeño cepillo que tiene en su otro extremo.
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel. Este es otro de mis favoritos. Después de maquillar mis cejas, este es un paso que nunca olvido, y este gel transparente es EL mejor que he encontrado en el mercado. Define y mantiene mis cejas en su lugar a través del día.
• BeautyBlender. Después de su debut hace unos años, esta pequeña esponja color rosa revolucionó el mercado de maquillaje. Muchas marcas han tratado de replicar su éxito, pero hay muchas críticas sobre la calidad de sus competencias. Me encanta el acabado natural que produce y es realmente un producto que sin el no puedo vivir.
• Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (en el color Demolition). Opto por este delineador con más frecuencia que una versión líquida. Lo uso más para mis looks del día-a-día, o cuando tengo prisa en las noches y no puedo permitirme perder unos minutos tratando de perfeccionar una apariencia perfecta de delineador forma cat-eye. Se desliza suavemente, no se transfiere y dura todo el día. Está disponible en varios tonos, si decean probar algo más divertido o vibrante.
• Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. Para los días en que tengo tiempo para crear un aspecto de delineado cat-eye perfecto, opto por este oro líquido. Recientemente intenté una nueva marca, y fue un fracaso. ¡En cambio, este es fácil de usar, se desliza sin esfuerzo y dura TODO EL DIA!
• Dior Diorskin Forever Perfect Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 35 (en el tono 21). Me encanta esta base desde que la probé por primera vez. Eso fue hace más de 2 años y sigue siendo una de mis favoritas. De hecho, hoy me maquillé con ella y luce casi igual que cuando lo apliqué a las 8 a.m. (ahora son las 5 p.m.). Esa es una de las razones por las que es esencial para mi; al igual que se aplica a la perfección, tiene un terminado mate y no seca mi piel (tengo la piel muy seca y siempre aplico una crema hidratante antes).

• Givenchy Matissime Velvet Radiant Mattifying Fluid Foundation SPF 20 (in the shade N04). I came across this foundation about 6 months ago and I love it as much as the Dior one. The reason why I opt for this one ever so often is because of its coverage, which is medium (and more lightweight for during the day or outdoor activity), and last a bit more than the one I mentioned above. The only con about this foundation is the few options in shades that are available; there are only eight shades as opposed to Dior’s twenty-four.
• Tarte Tarteist™ Lash Paint Mascara. I’ve used this mascara for YEARS! I have tried many other brands, even tried other Tarte formulas, but always go back to this specific one. I love it because it’s not harsh on your lashes and since using it I’ve noticed my lashes are more healthy and dense. More recently though, NYX sent me a package that included it’s Worth The Hype Mascara, and I’ve actually been using it quite often.
• Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (in the shade Eden). There are a few reasons why I always wear eyeshadow primer when doing any makeup look. One, it evens out the color of my eyelids. Two, leaves a subtle sticky residue which allows the eyeshadow to stick to. Three, it extends the life of my eyeshadow application. Four, my eyelids tend to be a bit oily and this primer does not allow the eyeshadow to crease.
• Hourglass Ambient® Strobe Lighting Powder (in the shade Brilliant). This is not a product I buy often, only because it last forever, but I am adding it here because it’s my ultimate choice for highlighting. The reason why I like it so much is because of its natural-looking luminescence and does not leave a heavy metallic finish. Did you know these powders are infused with ultra-fine pearl particles?
• IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness™ Neutralizing Correcting Cream (in the shade Transforming Neutral Beige). Again, this is a product I don’t buy often because it last quite some time, but it’s my go-to for spot concealing. I use it before applying my foundation to specific areas of my skin where there’s discoloration or blemish. It’s super soft and blends perfectly on the skin. Does not crack nor creases and even though I suffer from dry skin, it is great for all skin types.

La razón por la que opto por esta frecuentemente es debido a su terminado, es más liviana durante el día o para una actividad al aire libre y dura un poco más que la que mencioné anteriormente. Lo única negativo con respecto a esta base son las pocas opciones disponibles en tonos; solo hay ocho en comparación con las veinticuatro de Dior.
• Tarte Tarteist ™ Lash Paint Mascara. ¡He usado este rímel por AÑOS! He probado muchos otros, incluso he probado otras fórmulas de Tarte, pero siempre regreso a esta. Me encanta porque no es áspero en las pestañas y después de usarlo me he dado cuenta de que mis pestañas son más sanas y densas. Recientemente, NYX me envió un paquete que incluía su rímel Worth the Hype, y en realidad la he usado con bastante frecuencia.
• Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (en el color Eden). Hay varias razones por las que siempre uso pre-base de sombra cuando me maquillo. Una, empareja el color de mis párpados. Una vez más, este es otro producto que no compro a menudo porque dura bastante tiempo, pero es mi opción preferida para corrector. Lo uso antes de aplicar mi base en las áreas de mi piel donde hay decoloración o imperfecciones. Es súper liviana y se adapta perfectamente a la piel. No se agrieta, y aunque sufro de piel seca, es ideal para todo tipo de pieles.
