Two weekends ago Miami Beach was the place to be! Not only because of the warm climate and beautiful sandy beaches, but the biggest summer event of the year took Collins Avenue by storm. It was buzzling with gorgeous swimsuit models, uber famous celebrities, the chicest fashion trends and the biggest fashion and beauty brands out there. This event is definitely a fashionista’s galore, so surely I had to dress the part. I knew the hot and humid temperatures where a challenge but it wasn’t a problem with my favorite trend of all. Off-the-shoulders tops, rompers, dresses and bathing suits were basically on heavy rotation by everyone who attended this week-long affair. If you follow me for some time now, you know I don’t shy away from color, so I completed the look with this beautiful and very flattering chiffon pleated midi skirt from a few seasons ago. And let’s not forget the finishing touch, my ultimate and most favorite choker of all (which it may or may not be the main character in all my Swim Week looks).

FALDA PLISADA + BLUSA DE HOMBROS AL DESCUBIERTO
Hace dos fines de semana Miami Beach fue ¡el lugar para/donde estar! No sólo por el cálido clima y hermosas playas, pero el evento de verano más grande del año tomo a cabo en varios lugares a través de la conocida Avenida Collins. Estuvo saturado de hermosas modelos, personajes famosos, las más alucinantes tendencias de moda y las marcas más grandes de belleza y trajes de baño. Este evento es sin duda uno que nadie debería faltar, por lo cual era primordial que vistiera para la ocasión. Estaba consiente que las temperaturas calientes y húmedas serian un reto, pero no por mucho tiempo con mi tendencia favorita del año. Los hombros al descubierto estuvieron en alta rotación básicamente toda la semana, desde blusas y vestidos, hasta trajes de baño y monos cortos. Si me siguen desde hace algún tiempo, ya saben que me encantan los colores llamativos, por lo que opte por completar el look con esta hermosa y muy favorecedora falda plisada. Y no olvidemos sobre el toque final, mi gargantilla preferida (que puede o no ser la protagonista en todos mis looks de Swim Week).
