I was planning on publishing a Santorini travel guide today, BUT I have been busy busy busy for the last couple of days that didn’t allow me the time to sit down and jot down all my tips, suggestion and itinerary. I promise I will make the time next week 🙂 but for today, I leave you with one of my favorite looks from the trip. I wore this stripe cutie some time ago when I was about 5 months preggers. Estaba planeando publicar una Guía de viaje de Santorini hoy, PERO he estado ocupado durante los últimos días sin darme tiempo para sentarme y anotar todos mis consejos, sugerencias, etc. Prometo que haré la hora de la próxima semana J pero por hoy, les dejo con uno de mis looks favoritos del viaje. If you are wondering why I have been busy, well, the first and most obvious is the house renovation. If you peek at my IG stories, things are moving along. Our new bed was recently delivered, and the installation of our bathroom’s tiles is being finished. The custom-made closets will hopefully be completed by the end of this week and installed the week after. And don’t worry ladies, I know you all want to see the big reveal, specially the walk-in closet. It will come, I PROMISE!
And the second reason why I have been busy and equally excited… my hubby and I decided to not partake in a traditional Baby Shower. Instead, we will be hosting our parents and siblings at one of our favorite restaurants to welcome Baby Jorge. Although it will be something small and quite intimate, I wanted to make it special, not only for them, but for the baby daddy and myself. Thus, I have been preoccupied with a few DIY projects to make the venue’s space more cozy and baby-celebration-appropriate. I have been working on a few things to decorate the table, some simple but fun baby games and a few other décor projects. And no worries, I will be sharing it all here as well.
PS: My b-day is this weekend too! So double whammy; baby and birthday celebration, what more can a girl ask for?

Si se preguntan por qué he estado ocupada, bueno, la primera y más obvia razón es la renovación de nuestra casa. Si miran mis Stories de Instargam, las cosas están encaminándose. Nuestra nueva cama llego recientemente, y la instalación de lozas (también conocidas como baldosas) del baño ya casi esta terminada. Se espera que nuestros vestidores (closets) estén terminados a finales de esta semana. Y no se preocupen, chicas, sé que todas quieren ver la gran revelación ¡Vendrá pronto, se los PROMETO!
Y la segunda razón por la que he estado ocupada e igualmente de entusiasmada… mi esposo y yo decidimos no organizar un Baby Shower tradicional. En su lugar, vamos a invitar a nuestros padres y hermano de mi esposo a uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos para darle la bienvenida a nuestro bebe. Aunque será algo pequeño e íntimo, quería hacerlo especial, no solo para ellos, sino para su papá y para mí. Por lo tanto, he estado preocupada con algunos proyectos donde yo estoy elaborando algunas cosillas para hacer que el lugar sea más acogedor y apropiado para celebrar el bebé. He estado trabajando en arreglos florales para decorar la mesa, algunos juegos simples pero divertidos, y otras cositas de decoración. Y tampoco se preocupen de esto, lo compartiré todo por aquí también.
PD: ¡Mi cumpleaños también es este fin de semana! Así que disfrutare de dos celebraciones ¿qué más puede pedir esta chica?
