[one_half]I know I say this at the beginning of every month, but it seriously feels like this year is flying by. I can’t believe we are almost half way through the year, and in no time, we will be having thanksgiving dinner and opening presents. However, spring and summer are two seasons I don’t complain about when they are fast approaching. Why? Well, I get to wear fun, colorful and bold pieces like this one. To be honest, this look is a bit out of my comfort zone, but what is fashion without a little fun and some risky style moves right? That is why I opted to style these pieces, which are all, in one way or another, trends of their own. One trick I’ve learned is to always maintain the balance of your outfit, just like when you are cooking and you’ve added a bit of brown sugar when you might have gotten a little heavy handed with the salt. And with fashion, this is an idea that works every time with silhouettes and even colors. In this look, for example, the fullness of the puffed-sleeve top is counterbalanced with the high-waisted shorts, which create a form fitting silhouette to the entire outfit. No puedo creer que estemos casi a medio año, y en poco tiempo estaremos disfrutando de una deliciosa cena de acción de gracias y desenvolviendo regalos. Sin embargo, una cosa que espero ansiosamente cuando comienza un nuevo año (y no me quejo cuando se acerca) es la temporada de primavera y verano. ¿Por qué? Bueno, porque puedo vestir piezas divertidas, coloridas y llamativas como ésta. Para siendo honesta, este look es un poco fuera de mi zona de confort, pero ¿qué es la moda sin un poco de diversión y riesgos, no creen? Es por eso que opte por estas piezas, que son todas, de una manera u otra, tendencias de por sí solas. Un truco que he aprendido es que siempre es necesario mantener el equilibrio en un outfit, al igual que cuando usted está cocinando y ha añadido un poco de azúcar cuando se dio cuenta que su plato tiene mucha sal. Y con la moda, esta es una idea que siempre funciona con siluetas e incluso colores. En este look, por ejemplo, la manga ancha de esta blusa se contrapesa con los pantalones cortos de cintura alta, cual crea una silueta ajustada.
